# Applications on Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)
#### Wednesday 12th July 2017
In this ‘constructive’ networking event we will uncover how new innovations and advancements in Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) can enhance the applications you run on it.
Through the ODA’s ‘Application-in-a-Box’ solution your applications environments can all benefit from **performance** **and** **stability enhancement.**
Just as important as with any new technology, comes **significant cost saving benefits**… we will discuss this and highlight how you can capitalise using ODA – delivering a positive impact your ongoing database licensing.
### In short, the following hot topics will be covered in detail:
- The evolution of ODA’s Solution-in-a-Box.
- Manageability and support of your mission critical environment.
- How ODA can reduce cost, reduce risk and enable local (UK) Oracle Support.
- Expert knowledge on how to future-proof your IT investment by including the ODA in your Hybrid Cloud Strategy.
This all leads to a main goal, how to future proof your applications environment through Oracle while becoming more efficient in terms of costs and productivity. As well as the option of developing the fundamental steps you need to take to get your cloud strategy up and running.
You will also have the chance to have a Q&A session with specialist from both Oracle and DSP, where the floor will be open to any question you can think of.
### **Why attend?**
This event is primarily aimed at Key Technical Decision Makers, IT Managers and CTOs, however if you are interested in moving your data to the cloud, please do register to come along.
