SQL Server 2008:
A personal on-site workshop at your office.
On 12th of July 2018 Microsoft SQL Server 2008 went out of extended support , and on the 9th of July 2019, SQL Server 2008 R2 support will end. The end of these support and security updates from Microsoft means that systems are vulnerable to outside threats and aren’t compliant with industry regulations such as GDPR.
These are the options available to keep your infrastructure secure:
Migrating to Azure and upgrade a supported SQL Server version.
Migrate to Azure and stay on SQL Server 2008 with 3 years extended support.
Remain on-premise and upgrade to a supported version of SQL Server supported by your application.
