Oracle AI Database@Azure
Run Oracle's AI-native database engine — vector search, generative AI, autonomous operations — directly inside Azure, with zero data movement and zero compromise.
What Is Oracle AI Database@Azure?
Oracle AI Database@Azure is the evolution of Oracle Database@Azure, the same Oracle-managed infrastructure running on genuine OCI hardware inside Azure data centres, now purpose-built around one core idea: AI works best when it sits right next to your data, not bolted on beside it.
Instead of exporting data to a separate AI platform, running embeddings elsewhere and stitching results back together, Oracle AI Database@Azure brings AI capabilities directly into the database engine. That includes native AI Vector Search for semantic and similarity queries, Select AI for querying data using natural language and built-in support for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) — all running on Oracle AI Database 26ai.
The Azure-specific advantage is direct integration with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, so you can generate embeddings, build copilots or power agentic workflows, without your enterprise data ever leaving Oracle's security boundary. The service supports the same core services as before: Exadata Database Service (Dedicated and Exascale), Autonomous AI Database & Lakehouse, Base Database Service and GoldenGate.
Oracle AI Database@Azure combines Oracle's AI-powered database with Microsoft Azure to help organisations build intelligent applications, modernise workloads and manage enterprise data more efficiently. At DSP, our Oracle and Microsoft experts help you plan, deploy and optimise, ensuring you maximise the value of your cloud and AI investment.

No data movement. No compromise.
Gen AI projects usually mean exporting sensitive data to a separate store or platform. With AI Vector Search built directly into the database, your vectors, structured data and unstructured data all live and get queried in one place.
Natural language, not just SQL
Select AI lets business users and developers query enterprise data using plain English, which is translated into SQL under the hood — lowering the barrier between your mission-critical data and the people who need answers from it.
Bring your own model
Use Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini or OCI Generative AI models interchangeably, depending on what the workload needs, without re-architecting your data layer each time.
Enterprise-grade security for AI workloads
Your data never leaves Oracle's security perimeter to reach an LLM. Access control, encryption, and governance travel with the data, not around it.
Why choose DSP as your Oracle AI Database@Azure partner?
Certified Oracle & Azure expertise, under one roof
Most migration partners specialise in one cloud or the other. Our team holds a range of Oracle and Microsoft Azure certifications, so you're not stuck coordinating between two vendors who each only own half the problem.
We've done this before
We have ample experience migrating Oracle workloads to Azure. We know where the real risks sit — licensing traps, network latency misconfigurations, DR planning — because we've already hit them, so you don't have to.
Zero-downtime migration, done properly
We build and manage your migration using Oracle's Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM) tooling and Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) reference designs, so your production systems stay live while the move happens in the background.
Cost optimisation, not just cost estimation
Oracle Database@Azure pricing involves multiple moving parts — Exadata infrastructure, licensing, Azure consumption, DR regions. We help you right-size your deployment from day and continue optimising post-migration.
Oracle AI Database@Azure: The Benefits
Accelerate AI Innovation
Oracle AI Database@Azure brings AI directly into the database with built-in machine learning and vector search capabilities. Organisations can develop, deploy, and scale AI applications without moving data to separate platforms, thereby reducing complexity and accelerating innovation.
Businesses can build intelligent applications faster, improve decision-making, and unlock greater value from their existing data without extensive redevelopment.
Keep Data Where It Matters
By processing AI workloads within the database, businesses can minimise data movement, improving security, reducing latency and ensuring sensitive information remains protected.
This approach also improves performance by bringing AI closer to your data, enabling faster insights and more efficient decision-making without the need for complex data pipelines.
Simplify Cloud Operations
Run Oracle Database services natively within Microsoft Azure while using familiar Azure tools, identity services and management processes. This simplifies administration and enables teams to work within a single cloud ecosystem.
Organisations can reduce operational complexity, improve efficiency and accelerate the deployment of new applications and services while making the most of their existing Azure investments.
