Our leadership team is made up of a variety people from different backgrounds and industries. They have come together to offer their varied wealth of experience, boundless enthusiasm and technical knowledge from their specific areas of specialty. Some of these industry leaders have been within the IT solutions industry for as much as 30+ years and have pasted down their knowledge to the next generation of dsp staff, creating a strong and well educated team.
Although we are an IT solutions company we still have plenty of personality and human connection, it’s how we relate to our customers and help their businesses grow to their full potential.
We want you to feel completely at ease with our guidance and know that through our combined years of being in the industry, you are in good hands…
As you can see from our profiles, each of us has a very different set of skills yet we all share one united quality. We all showed great motivation and dedication in becoming the professionals that we are today and we all understand business success on a personal and a professional level.
Simon became Chairman in July 2015 having served as Non-Executive Director for a year. He has worked in the database and applications managed services market for almost 25 years, but does not like to be referred to as a veteran!
Simon was the Co-founder of Quantix, which was a leading provider of Oracle managed services until its acquisition in 2011 and subsequently was Managing Director of Interoute Application Management.
Joining and investing in dsp to help accelerate its future growth was a natural choice for Simon due to its market reputation and its laser-like focus on delivering service excellence for Oracle and Microsoft technologies, something that he has been involved with all his career.
Founding CEO / Director
I love being an entrepreneur. Starting in the 70s, from the age of 13 to about 19, I worked in Gravesend Saturday market on various stalls and putting up and taking down frame stalls (hard work at 6am on a Thames estuary winter morning).
My first IT job was as a programmer for a struggling, start-up, three-man company. This early exposure to other people's entrepreneurism inspired me during those early days and made me determined and tenacious in pursuing my goals.
This determination and tenacity has led me to where I am today - a family man with a desire to continue building successful businesses.
I joined dsp back in 2000 to help our clients realise the competitive advantage of database technology and make business sense of the complexity of IT.
This opportunity is even greater today. The pace of change in IT is phenomenal and managing a company during these times is incredibly exciting.
It is a privilege to create a business where our staff are continually challenged to master the innovation in IT and to craft services that can be used simply by our customers.
I am actively involved in the UK Oracle User Group and help to organise regular meet ups as well as presenting regularly at the Annual conference. I also love to attend the Microsoft and Open source cloud meet up events that happen regularly.
Bobby joined dsp in July 2015 and brings with him 17 years of hands on experience in the database and application management industry. He has a history of understanding customer requirements and solving business issues.
Prior to this Bobby was part of the start-up team at Quantix Ltd where he and his team were responsible for new customer acquisitions and retention of key accounts. He continued to develop his skills at Interoute where he quickly became instrumental in driving the business forward as Director of Enterprise Applications Practice.
As the latest member of the board, Bobby’s main focus is to execute the corporate strategy of dsp while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the commercial and delivery teams.
Passionate about Cloud - Talk to me about migrating SQL Server/Oracle workloads to Azure, Oracle Cloud and AWS.
Together with my team I can help you successfully move critical business applications to Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or AWS. I have one eye on eliminating outages, the other on minimising your ongoing costs. Being a hands-on CTO, I don't sit in an ivory tower considering what might happen in the future with technology.
I believe the best way to understand the direction and pace of the IT market is to work inside customer projects.
Tuhel joined dsp in 2009 and has since been committed to helping dsp achieve its goals by providing senior level counsel, executing strategy and ensuring financial stability.
Tuhel has been involved in a number of projects within dsp ranging from company acquisitions, financial audits and system implementation to employee engagement projects. A valued member of the board, Tuhel’s deep understanding of dsp makes him a primary point of contact in all decisions. The ability to have a holistic view of the business allows Tuhel to enhance the dsp brand and value.
Prior to dsp Tuhel spent 6 years at MS&L, part of the Publicis Groupe, as a Financial Analyst helping the business gain deep insight to key performance drivers.
