The newer version is supported until 2027, it's also packed with advanced features providing enhanced performance and security. Such an upgrade should be planned and done with the knowledge of how it can benefit your environment/setup.

With Oracle Cloud, you only pay for what you use and make sure your business chooses the optimum model for your Oracle deployment be that Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI/IaaS) or Oracle Database Cloud Service (PaaS). Equally, you may wish to consider leveraging your current license investment through the BYOL programme.
