Overview
Natara’s roots can be traced back to 1933 as Frutarom, and the business has been forged by the amalgamation of different brands and expertise ever since.
Natara Global Ltd was formed in August 2023 following the acquisition of the Frutarom business by a leading UK-based private equity firm, Exponent.
After the acquisition was completed, the organisation embarked upon a change and transformation programme to separate from its previous owners and lay the foundations for future growth. The journey is all about the future, focused on enhancing operational efficiency, improving supply chain management, and increasing process consistency across the globe.
Embracing new technologies, methods, and streamlining processes will ensure that Natara continues to consistently and efficiently deliver the highest-quality products to new and existing customers.
"We approached DSP to assist us with our Oracle EBS R12.2 transition and upgrade programme. We have worked closely with the DSP team for well over a year and their guidance, support, and expertise has been instrumental in the success of Natara’s Oracle project to date. Their professionalism and integrity have been exemplary and our relationship continues to go from strength to strength – I am confident in saying that they have proven to be one of the best solution partners I have ever worked with, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

Natara utilises Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) across its business, including Process Manufacturing, Financials, and Procurement modules. The R11 solution used by Natara has been out of support for several years. As such, Natara has embarked on an upgrade journey to R12.2, which allows them to benefit from Oracle’s continuous product innovation and will be supported until at least 2035.
Natara wanted to work with a reliable and efficient Oracle partner with proven expertise in delivering R12.2 upgrades to ensure the project is implemented smoothly and on time.
Before Natara existed, DSP became their Oracle partner. During the planning phase before the completion of the acquisition, faced with an ageing Oracle EBS platform, Natara sought a partner who could provide expertise to help them separate from their parent company and lay the foundations for the future of the Natara business.
Following a wide-ranging search for an appropriate partner, DSP was selected to help deliver the initial separation programme and a future R12.2 upgrade.
Natara Global’s IT Director said, “Of all the Oracle partners I engaged with, only DSP demonstrated a willingness to listen to our needs and challenge us where necessary; and an ability, backed up by their track record, to work with Natara as partners through a complex transition of an outdated Oracle solution”
The Natara/DSP journey has been ongoing since August 2023; the first phase, a lift-and-shift migration, is now complete, with the current R11 solution migrated to DSP’s in-house ‘Claremont Cloud’ platform.
With the initial 12-month programme of separation activities completed on time and within budget, Natara’s focus has now shifted to the future. Alongside DSP, Natara has embarked on the execution of a project to replace the current Oracle platform with the latest EBS R12.2 solution. This will touch every area of the organisation, introducing new capabilities, improving efficiency, and reducing complexity in their systems.
DSP has worked with Natara in true partnership, critical to the success of our transition into a standalone business. Since migrating the current EBS platform into Natara’s infrastructure, supported by DSP’s managed service, we have seen improvements in support response times and outcomes effectiveness, and general satisfaction amongst our user base has increased.
Several inherited issues and enhancements, some of which have been outstanding requests dating back several years, have also been resolved by the DSP team since migration.
