The Challenge
New legislation coming in 2025 states that gas boilers can no longer be installed in houses, this has led to anticipated demand for Heat Pumps as an alternative. Our customer wanted to get ahead of the game and offer a flexible solution to engineers in the field that allows them to size up a house, document all of the relevant information and have the ability to recommend the correct heat pump to be sold and installed to the customer.
The Solution

Modernise non-intuitive Excel spreadsheet into a scalable, flexible, and smart device compatible application

Allow for ease of reporting across different geographic regions

Integration with Google geocoding APIs to deliver location data based on input that is used in the calculations

Give onsite Engineers the ability to size and scope best fit heat pumps in a range of house sizes/types

Allow the Engineer to download an easy to view PDF that can be emailed directly to the customer
