Our customer is a large multinational food company who have grown from a small company to become a recognised world leader in the production and manufacture of sustainable nutrition for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical markets. A highly acquisitive company, they employ more than 22,000 people worldwide and their products are consumed daily by over a billion consumers.

The Challenge

Our customer is heavily invested in Oracle APEX for their in-house development. Having recently upgraded their Oracle APEX instance to APEX 20.2, it was essential that their in-house developer team was trained and conversant on this version. It wasn’t possible to provide the required training in-house, so they sought a specialist third party to provide this service.

The Solution

Because the developers were unfamiliar with Oracle APEX 20.2, DSP provided them with a 'beginner' training package, appropriate for anyone wanting to learn how to create applications using the core development principles of Oracle APEX. This ensured the whole team had a baseline skillset upon which to build in the future. In addition, the course covered all the key elements and fundamental features that are essential when building any Oracle APEX application. DSP was appointed to deliver the required Oracle APEX training because of our leading status as an Oracle APEX specialist partner in the UK.
