Asset Management Application
The Challenge
A company specializing in distribution and delivery to supermarkets and retailers had a requirement for an asset management solution that would enable them to manage thousands of assets moving around the country every day. Without an established internal IT team, there was a reliance on Excel spreadsheets whilst customer orders and movements were largely organised over the phone or via email. After conducting some market research, there were no off-the-shelf products fit for purpose and so an engagement with DSP to create a bespoke solution was the best route forward. We developed an application from the ground up to digitally transform the entire process, making the best use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), which in turn allowed the customer to scale very easily with a flexible and dynamic solution allowing for half a million daily transactions, deployed in OCI with a fully managed service to ensure the application remains online and performant.
